Create a Course

Please find the specific type of course you want to create, and follow the instructions for it. The submit a New Course Request, please fill in the following form in the Contacts Section. Depending on your Health Authority, you may have additional steps you may need to do before a course can be created.

Classroom Courses consists of at least 1 or more Classroom Sessions for Users to register in. They genearlly require less consultation from LearningHub Support Desk if this is the first time a User has submitted a Course Request.clas.png

New classroom courses can only be added to the LearningHub by the LearningHub Support Desk . A request must be submitted.

  1. Open the Contacts Section
  2. Select New Course Request 
  3. Select Classroom in the Format Field
  4. Enter all Mandatory FieldsNew Course Request.png
  5. Click Submit
  6. The LearningHub Support Desk will email you once the course has been created or will contact you if they have additional questions.
Note* Please Ensure you select the correct Health Authority the course should be created for.
 

Tyes.png                                                                    ‎An online course is a course that has an online module, video or online test that is available for users 24/7.                          

To create a course with online modules, please fill in the New Course Request Form. If this is your first time creating an online course, email learninghubadmin@phsa.ca for a consultation.

  1. After consulting with the LearningHub Support Desk, submit the New Course Request in the Contacts Section
  2. Select e-Learning in the Format Field
  3. Enter all Mandatory FieldsNew Course Request.png
  4. Click Submit
  5. The LearningHub Support Desk will email you once the course has been created or will contact you if they have additional questions.
  6. Follow the procedures for Coures Development and Course Testing
 
Curriculums can be created for a specific list of e-learning and classroom courses. Curriculums cannot be added as a component of another curriculum. Curriculum manager is responsible for editing curriculum details and adding/removing courses.Curr.png

Note* Individual Courses not owned by you may have different Access Settings for different User. This may restrict their access to those courses.

3. Select Curriculum in the Format Field
4. Enter all Mandatory Fields

5. The administrator will email you once the curriculum has been created
